New race courses

Racing Courses

Following numerous comments and suggestions from both sides of the border, we are happy to offer two new race courses for our A and B classes (racing classes). Depending on the wind direction and speed (see 2006 Racing Instructions) we will now have two options to choose from. We believe this new formula will promote an exciting competition for all racing fans.

Cruising courses

The cruising classes will have four options for long or medium distances, depending on the wind speed and direction. For the cruising class, we droped the triangular-shape courses in order to promote a more user-friendly spirit, so important to the racing committee. Consequently, will be chosen between options 3 to 6, as defined in the racing instructions.

With these modifications our goal is to make sure that all participants will race safely in a user-friendly atmosphere. Although we strive to make this class as competitive and cordial as possible, we have witnessed in the past years some reckless maneuvers on the starting line. This is why we wish to see our more experienced racers make a move towards the racing classes.
