P.S. from Réal Leblanc : Walter Timmerman participated in an offshore regatta from Dinard, France to Svolvaer in the Lofoten Islands of Norway, situated north of the artic circle. The regatta is named the Dinartica and he participated on Georges Leblanc's boat, named Océanne. Read on to see more info on Océanne and Georges Leblanc's campaign.

Since 2004,  Georges has spent his time preparing a crew and a support team capable of taking on the challenges of the Dinartica, the "Route du Rhum", the 2007 Jacques Vabres and the 2008 Québec St-Malo open waters regattas.

He has acquired a 65' Mc Gregor, optimised for offshore racing.

Important modifications were made to the keel and rudder.
