The « Yum-Yum » race is back again for the 29th year in full power (or sail ! ). We are anxious to meet you all again for another round of fun, joy, and sound competition. We will be back this year at Monty's Bay Marina. Once again, we will be more than happy to be welcome by Roger McCormick.
Our sponsors are also faithfully keeping us afloat. All we need again this year is you, your family and your friends. As last year, we have added two long distance courses. Wind conditions permitting, there will be one long distance run and two triangles. We will use the results of these three races to sort out the winners of each division. However, if we cannot hold a long distance run, we will return to the four triangle formula (two triangles per day) . In that case, we will use the three best races to compile the results of the weekend. The divisions are the same: two racing classes, three cruising classes, and the « initiation » class, for those who would like to test their abilities for the first time. For that class, an information session will be held on Friday at around 8 :30 pm. As usual, we will have trophies for the winners of each class.
And this year again, as a way to emphasize participation, the prizes will be allotted by drawing among all participating boats. Finally, our Omnium T-shirts will still be available for sale. Looking forward to see you!
Weekend schedule:

In all regattas participation is an important key to success. We have tried to organize the "Yum-Yum" race to appeal to all who want to have fun with their boats and fellow sailors. So talk it up with your friends, whether they are racers or novices, and encourage them to join us for this end of season fun weekend. We'll do our best to ensure that everyone feels welcome and has a great time. And maybe Champ will be with us? He's never been there????
All the information you need to register for the regatta is on our registration form. Full details of the courses will be provided at the Skipper's Meeting at 08:00 Saturday morning.
Looking forward to welcome you at event.
